Real Life Commercials
This is a shot of Miriam washing her hair in the bathtub tonight.
After perfecting the quaff, she turned to me and pronounced "I call this one the Santa Claus." She's thinking of opening a beauty salon if anybody is interested in a 'do.
And now Eli's turn.
"It's a pillow. It's a pet. It's a pillow pet."

I can't believe how much Miriam looks like you in that picture. In fact, the thought even briefly flashed in my brain that you had put up an old picture of you to compare to something else. Lo and behold...it wasn't you. Crazy! Not that your hair usually looks like the Santa Clause 'do:).
Also, that Zeke is awesome (assuming he is alive cuz that pillow pet seems like he couldn't possibly be real in those pictures). Henry still loves his not live pillow pet and he lays on it just like Eli is lounging on Zeke. What a great cat.
I'm so glad to see that "quaff" really is a word! I used it in scrabble the other night and couldn't remember what it was...all I knew is that it was indeed a word. thanks for the validation! And...
I loved the tale of Eli sneaking his trucks from under his bed. That is hilarious that he found them! I bet Christmas was a blast at your place!
And Miriam is adorable, just like her mom! You two do look a lot alike. I wish I had some claim on my children!
